Situated on the Futaleufu River, El Encuentro is located in Central Patagonia about a 50-minute drive from the town of Esquel, Argentina.
We have been providing quality fly-fishing adventures for over 17 years and have been doing so longer than anyone on Argentina’s Futaleufu River (Rio Grande).
All of our guides speak English and are very familiar with the area and its waters.
Join us for a great fishing experience of rainbow and brown trout and enjoy our privileged riverside located lodge, great food, world know Argentine wines, and stunning scenery.
Even though we focus on providing exceptional fishing experiences we are pleased to arrange other activities including horseback riding, bird watching, whale watching, and other activities of interest.

The following are the 2007-2008 season prices.

High Season : (December 26th – March 15th)

•U$s 530 per rod (double occupancy):
•U$s 570 per rod (single occupancy).

Prices include lodging, all meals, wine and beer with the meals, guides, and transfer to and from Esquel Airport.
Gratitude’s are optional and not included in the price. Fishing licenses and privet water prices are not included.

• Non-fishing guests are US$250 per day

Low Season: (November 1st –December 25th and march 16th – April 30th)

• U$s 490 per rod (double occupancy)

• U$s 530 (single occupancy).
